Power Board

A distribution board (also known as panelboard, breaker panel, or electric panel) is a component of an electricity supply system that divides an electrical power feed into subsidiary circuits while providing a protective fuse or circuit breaker for each circuit in a common enclosure.

A distribution board is also called a panel board, breaker panel, electric panel or DB box. Its main function is to divide the electrical power evenly among all the electrical devices. The primary functions also include power generation, transmission and distribution.

The main purpose of the board is to control the flow of power. It divides the main current supplied to it into several smaller chunks and distributes it to the devices.
